2026 Lady Cat Invitational 

Round Robin Tournament

December 19th, 2026

Radford High School

Format:

All female Round-Robin format 

Tournament will be run on two mats via TrackWrestling.

12 VHSL weight categories will be used (100, 107, 114, 120, 126, 132, 138, 145, 152, 165, 185, 235)

A maximum of 100 wrestlers will be allowed in the tournament

Each wrestler will have up to 6 matches throughout the day.  

Entry Fee:

• The cost for each participant will be $40 (maximum of $400 per school).  

• Email Dwayne Martin at dmartin@rcps.org with registration information and to ensure there is space for your wrestler.  

• Checks will be made out to Radford High School (Lady Cat Invitational in the memo) and mailed to:

Spectators 

• Spectator admission for the day will be $10 each

• To encourage wrestling, all school-age spectators will be allowed in FREE OF CHARGE!!

• Before leaving the gym, spectators must get their hand stamped for re-entry.  

Weigh-ins

Weigh-ins will occur in the main gym at 8 am.  Scales will be available to check weight beforehand.

Locker Rooms:

A girl’s locker room will be available throughout the tournament.  Please DO NOT leave personal belongings in the locker room.  RHS highly encourages all wrestlers to use the bathrooms in the locker-rooms to reduce the usage load in the main restrooms.  

Coolers/Food:

Teams/Individuals will be allowed to bring coolers and food into the gym and keep in their designated area.  RHS asks that teams work throughout the tournament to keep their area clean from trash. 

Concessions:

Concessions will be available throughout the tournament starting at 9am.

Hospitality Room:

A hospitality room will be available for coaches, officials, and team managers.  Four bracelets will be given to each team for the hospitality room.  

Schedule:

7am Gym opens for checking weight

8am Weigh-ins

9am Wrestling begins  

Short breaks may be taken between rounds depending on the speed of the tournament.

Awards:

Medals will be awarded to the top 4 participants in each weight class.    

Awards will be distributed once all matches have concluded for the weight class.
